While spending time in the Truckee area we took a side trip to Virginia City, Nevada.
This historic city transports its visitors back in time. We found The Palace Saloon to be our favorite The bar stools are very distinctive and found in many of the saloons in Virginia City.

About Geraldine Arata
Award winning Artist, Geraldine Arata is a native San Franciscan with a Bachelors of Fine Art Degree from San Francisco State University, and a Master of Fine Art degree from the Academy of Art University San Francisco. She and her husband, John Pruett, owned and operated Arata Fine Art Gallery, 450 Columbus Ave., San Francisco, . Among other locations Arata has had gallery representation, in New Orleans, Louisiana, and San Francisco and Truckee , California. And owns a Gallery in Benicia, California Arata has participated in several fundraisers, including the Joe Di Maggio’s Playground Fundraiser and the San Francisco Giants Wives Auction.
