Inspired by the beautiful surroundings and history of Truckee and its indigenous people. The Native American Indian people have a spiritually rich culture. Every aspect of their native costumes has an elaborate opulence of design and deep meanings that have been passed on from generation to generation. Their faces, and sometimes use of paint, are powerful images. It is my belief that this culture will bring wisdom and insight into my own life which I hope to communicate to others”.
